Removing equal signs. | MrExcel Message Board

I have a cell with the contents copied from another source. The contents of the cell is now =-OKY. The problem is that (I think) excel sees the equal sign as a formula so the contents of the cell is now #NAME?. What I really want is just OKY so need to get rid of the =-. Hope this makes sense.
